Backed Campster 1, received and pleased with it. Ordered Octo on Kickstarter, upgraded it, received a tracking number but told the couriers lost it and fuck all communication since. Do not back this company. Do not spend any money on their products.

I ordered and paid for the titanium and aluminium model. They delivered the steel and aluminium models instead. (I read on line that they had run out of titanium versions). I have tried for two months to get a response, only to be fobbed off and then ignored. Avoid this company, and the product is also mediocre too.
My titanium version is beautifully finished. However the final design leaves a lot to be desired. Given the time from purchase to delivery and the input into the design there are issues that should not have arisen. Firstly my biggest problem is the locking mechanism. The magnet is extremely weak and you can very nearly blow on it and it will open so there's the constant worry that you will lose your keys if it opens inadvertently. The screwdriver tool protrudes and could have been designed to slide in and out like the glass-cutting bit, as there is the worry that it is fairly sharp and could cut through pockets. Additionally, the screwdriver bits are tiny and especially the Phillips head is only likely to be able to unscrew the smallest of screws.
Thank you for your review. The sliders main purpose is to keep the gate from opening when using the bit-holder or glass breaker. The magnet is Neodyme N52, and does'nt get stronger for its size. Even a larger magnet would not solve you problem, only a screw lock would. Having used the Carabiner for 6 months without lock, i can state that it would require alot of effort to loose your keys if hanging them inside the carabiner. We did make a keyhole for that purpose, so adding the TI keyring's with keys is easy and no chance to loose them. Philips head has small but not at tiny head, thats why the bit-holder can take on all bits. It would not be cost efficient to make the 4-in-1 bit slide in and out, although it would be nice, it would be very costly. Thank you for you input.
A very nice piece (of Ti) with a few imperfections - (1) no Leatherman-style bit is supplied. (2) Ones i have tried fit but are not as snug as I’d like and may fall out. (3) The ‘magnet lock’ is VERY weak. A great EDC item overall.
